These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application SweetMate (the "App"), operated by Maretto.pl/Michal Kabzinski ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

The App is intended to help users record, store, and review information related to blood glucose levels, insulin intake, meals, and other diabetes-related data for personal tracking purposes only.

The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. No Medical Advice Disclaimer

The App and all information provided within it are for informational and self-management purposes only.

• The App does not replace professional medical advice.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical decisions.
• Do not disregard medical advice or delay seeking it because of information obtained from the App.

Use of the App is at your own risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. The collection and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that the data you enter into the App is accurate and lawful.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree that you will:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to interfere with the App
• Not use the App in any way that could harm other users or the App’s infrastructure

6. Account and Data Storage

Depending on the App’s features:

• Your data may be stored locally on your device and/or securely in the cloud
• You are responsible for maintaining backups unless the App explicitly provides backup functionality
• We do not guarantee that your data will never be lost or corrupted

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the App are the property of Maretto.pl/Michal Kabzinski or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time
• Update these Terms from time to time

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on data recorded or displayed in the App
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
